Terms of service
JPJR Fitness Pro · last updated 9 September 2026
1. What this covers
These terms cover your use of JPJR Fitness Pro, the coaching
plugin published by JPJR Code, and the Google sign-in service it operates at
oauth.jpjr.ca. Installing or using the plugin means you accept
them.
They are between you — the person or business running the software — and JPJR Code, a business established in Quebec, Canada. They are not the agreement between you and the people you coach. That is yours to write, and the plugin includes an editor for it.
2. What the software is
The plugin runs on your own website and stores its data in your own database. We do not host it, do not have access to it, and hold no copy of your data or your clients’.
The sign-in service is the one thing we operate. It carries an authorisation between Google and your site and stores nothing. It is offered as a convenience; you may instead supply your own Google credentials in the plugin’s settings and not use it at all.
3. What you are responsible for
- The website the plugin runs on, its hosting, its security and its backups.
- Everything you collect from your clients, and having a lawful basis for it. Health information — weight, measurements, injuries, food — is sensitive in most jurisdictions and the plugin will not record it for somebody who has not agreed to your privacy policy.
- The coaching itself. The software arranges and records training; it does not decide whether an exercise is safe for a given person, and nothing it generates is medical advice.
- Your own terms and privacy policy, and answering your clients’ access and deletion requests.
4. What we ask of you
Do not use the sign-in service other than as part of a genuine installation of this plugin, and do not attempt to use it to obtain Google authorisation for anything else. Do not remove or alter the notices identifying the software.
5. Availability
The sign-in service is provided without any uptime commitment. If it is unavailable, connecting a new calendar and refreshing an existing authorisation will fail until it returns; the plugin treats that as temporary and retries, and your bookings continue to work from the availability already stored.
We may change or discontinue the service. If we discontinue it we will give reasonable notice, and you can switch to your own Google credentials without losing any data.
6. No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, JPJR Code is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising out of your use of the software or the sign-in service.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, judicial district of Montreal.
